Spinal Decompression is a reliable and non-surgical procedure that consists on taking off pressure from the spinal disk where the pain is located. This treatment is not for every patient who comes with a recent back pain or sciatica, which is why at Keystone Wellness Center our patients will be previously evaluated by our specialist who will determine this possibility, according if the pain is associated with:

  • An hernia and bulging lumbar discs
  • Degenerated disc
  • Facet syndrome
  • Back pain accompanied with continuous tingling
  • Injured spinal nerve roots

With the Spinal Decompression Treatment it is achieved the reduction of pressure within the disc which it regenerates by absorbing water and nutrients. You can be sure that this procedure is totally safe and comfortable since it is assisted by a professional physician who operates the positioning and variation of the degree and intensity of force.

Back pain is one of the most uncomfortable pains to live with, and can be caused by many different diseases and conditions. Back pain can occur when, for example, someone has an incorrect posture for a long period of time, or by lifting something too heavy or too stretched, causing a sprain, strain or spasm of the muscles. Up to 85% of the US Population will have back pain at some time in their life and the causes, therefore the treatments will differ on each patient; although this problem can affect your spine progressively if it is not treated correctly.
At Keystone Wellness Center we specialized on back pain reliefs according to the diagnosis of each patient so we can assure the pain can go away efficiently with no sequels and give back the ability to walk and move pain-free without surgery and without having shots in the back. If you’re suffering from a chronicle back pain don’t let pass any more time and get in touch with us! You can rely on us since our procedures use non-invasive technology

The largest nerve in your body is the sciatica nerve; it runs all the way from your feet all the way up the base of the spinal cord. A complication with the ‘sciatica nerve’ can turn into a serious problem if it is overlooked, which is why it is important to understand the root cause of medical symptoms of sciatica.
There are six common causes of sciatica:

  • Slipped disc (in which some of the thick gel in the disc may leak into the tiny cracks provoking an uncomfortable pain)
  • Spinal Stenosis (most common in men and women over 50 years old)
  • Pregnancy
  • Piriformis Syndrome (which can lead to an irritation of the sciatic nerve)
  • Infection or injury on the pelvis
  • Spinal Tumors

One of the most common symptoms of sciatica would be a low back pain that radiates to the hip, buttock, and down a lower extremity, often described as numbness, pins and needles, tingling, burning, and achy soreness that can shoot down through the buttocks to the foot or leg. Often, sciatica improves itself; however, it is common to reappear. Keystone Wellness Center can detect the cause of sciatica and relieve the pain with a treatment program based on a precise diagnosis.

A herniated disc occurs when the spongy, soft material that cushions the bones of the spine slips out of place or becomes damaged. Disc herniation can occur in the neck, middle, and lower back.  In fact, herniated discs are one of the most common causes of neck and arm pain, so if you are feeling numbness, stiffness, even partial or complete paralysis of the neck you should visit Keystone Wellness Center so one of our specialists can detect if it has to do with a hernia on the spine.

Herniated Disc Treatment

The treatment programs that we provide focus on the nervous system and spine based on radiographic images along with a thorough medical examination by our specialist Dr. Ryan Fisher, in order to repair the damaged area efficiently and speed your recovery. We are conscious that nobody would want to pass through this complication since it holds regular living conditions making it impossible to do any activity that requires bending or even walking. If you or someone you care about is experiencing severe pain on the areas just mentioned please don’t wait any longer and make an appointment with Dr. Fisher, where he will bring back your sanity without even having to pass through surgery.

Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD)
The spine is constructed by vertebras; distributed as cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and the sacral curve. Between these vertebrae are intervertebral discs that cushion the union between these curves and hold the vertebra together. When a vertebra suffers from the Degenerative Disc Disease what happens is that the bone located in the lumbar curve starts wearing down causing the person an uncomfortable pain and difficulty moving around.
Very often, our patients think on this problem as a severe ‘disease’ but you should know that DDD (as it is commonly referred) is not a disease; neither the disc degenerates to the point where there is no turning back, since the body is able to re-stabilized the vertebra. Although lifestyle and daily activities can bring symptoms at a mature age, degenerative Disc is part of the natural aging process in which some might not feel pain while others will pass through excruciating pain experiences making hard to performed proper movements.
As people age, these changes tend to show up on the radiographs of most men and women. However, the first imaging modality to detect changes of DDD is MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), even before plain radiographs.

Spinal Stenosis is a common and potentially crippling condition in which the spinal canal narrows and the bone compresses the spinal cord and nerves at the lumbar level vertebra. This complication occurs over the age of 60, affecting women slightly more than men with a variety of symptoms including:

  • Back pain
  • Sciatic nerve pain
  • Numbness
  • Weakness
  • Balance problems
  • A flexed forward posture
  • Difficulty walking any distances
  • And/or any combinations of these

If you have opted for simple treatments such as postural changes or anti-inflammatory medicaments and the symptoms are still there, then you should get a comprehensive and multidisciplinary treatment plan that will relieve spinal stenosis symptoms once and for all.

At Keystone Wellness Center you can get rid of this awful complication that has had you dealing with pain killing drugs and possibly deteriorating your living conditions. You can start a non-invasive treatment with Dr. Fisher now!
